BYOR Contractor Network

Contractor Signup

Join the network, submit your company details, upload the media you want on BYOR, and get reviewed for homeowner job opportunities.

What to prepare

Company details, contact info, profile media, and your W-9 if you want the application to move faster.

What homeowners will see

Your business identity, company album, short intro video, service area, and pricing signals after approval.

What happens after submission

BYOR reviews the application for homeowner marketplace placement. Contractor account access starts right away, and Stripe can be finished later before payment or payout.

Company Information

All fields are reviewed before your listing goes live.

Include the best direct number for BYOR review follow-up.

Use the 2-letter state abbreviation.

Profile media

Upload the profile photo and company / project album you want hosted on BYOR. If you already host images elsewhere, the fallback link inputs are below.

Upload first

Use a clear headshot, team image, or branded company photo for the main contractor card.

Upload finished work, before/after shots, crews, jobsite clips, and short project videos for your BYOR company album.

A vertical public YouTube Short is recommended. Set the video to public and paste the link here.

Keep it at 30 seconds or less for homeowner profile playback.

Privacy and security

Your Tax ID and W-9 are stored securely and used only for internal payout setup. They are never shared with homeowners or displayed publicly.

W-9

Upload your completed W-9 or create it inside BYOR. The generated copy is saved to your contractor profile and emailed to the signup email after submission.

Saved after submit

Uploaded W-9 documents are stored privately for internal review and payout setup only. If you use Create W-9, the finished PDF is attached during signup and a copy is sent to the email address above.

Insurance documents

Upload your current COI, GL declarations page, or relevant endorsements so BYOR can verify coverage status and limits.

Optional but recommended

BYOR uses these files to extract carrier, policy dates, liability limits, and endorsement signals. Low-confidence parses are flagged for manual review rather than treated as verified coverage.
